Our Mission

Our mission is to uplift and empower the most vulnerable members of our community—indigents, orphans, widows, the elderly, and people with disabilities—by providing holistic support that fosters dignity, self-reliance and inclusion. We are committed to enhancing their quality of life through comprehensive services, advocacy and sustainable development initiatives that promote social justice, equality and community resilience.

Aims

  1. To provide essential resources and services that address the immediate and long-term needs of orphans, widows, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
  2. To advocate for the rights and inclusion of the most vulnerable in society, ensuring access to education, healthcare, employment and social services.
  3. To foster community engagement and collaboration with stakeholders to build a society that values and supports its most marginalised members.
  4. To promote sustainable development and economic empowerment for indigent individuals through skills training, microfinance and livelihood support programs.

Objectives

1.    Provide Basic Needs and

Support:

·       Distribute food, clothing and essential household items to indigent families, orphans, widows, the elderly and people with disabilities.

·       Offer temporary and transitional shelter services to homeless or displaced individuals and families.

·       Establish and maintain care centres that provide medical assistance, counselling and social support services.

2.    Promote Access to Education:

·       Provide scholarships, learning materials and school supplies to orphans and children from indigent families.

·       Facilitate access to vocational training, skill development programs and adult education for widows, the elderly and people with disabilities.

·       Partner with educational institutions and sponsors to create inclusive learning environments for all, regardless of social or economic status.

3.    Enhance Health and Well-being:

·       Organise regular medical outreach programs, including free health screenings, immunisations and provision of medication.

·       Develop rehabilitation programs for people with disabilities, focusing on physical, occupational and emotional therapy.

·       Provide mental health support and counselling services for individuals experiencing trauma, loss, or abuse.

4.    Advocate for Rights and Social Inclusion:

·       Campaign for the rights of vulnerable groups by engaging with policymakers, governments, and relevant stakeholders.

·       Raise public awareness about issues affecting indigents, orphans, widows, the elderly and people with disabilities through media, workshops and community events.

·       Create platforms for marginalised voices to be heard, encouraging their participation in decision-making processes that affect their lives.

5.    Support Economic Empowerment:

·       access to microfinance opportunities, including small business loans, savings programs and financial literacy training.

·       Develop and support income-generating activities, including skills training, entrepreneurship programs and cooperative development for widows, the elderly and people with disabilities.

·       Facilitate job placement and employment opportunities in partnership with local businesses, government agencies and private sector organisations.

6.    Build Community Partnerships and Capacity:

·       Collaborate with local, national, and international organisations, donors, and volunteers to enhance the reach and impact of our programs.

·       Develop community-based programs that encourage volunteerism, mentorship, and support networks.

·       Ensure continuous improvement of services through research, monitoring, and evaluation to adapt to the evolving needs of the community.

7. Promote Sustainable Development:

·       Implement environmental sustainability practices within our organisation and encourage eco-friendly initiatives in the communities we serve.

·       Develop sustainable agricultural programs, including urban gardens, community farms, and livestock projects to promote food security and independence.
